S4.2.2 Track Bus
Each track bus will be identical to the single track bus. Every time another track is added the connectors for that track will be placed to the right or left of the first track. for example I have shown track buses for single track to triple track modules.
in all instances, right and left refer to when looking toward the end of the module end plate.
S4.2.2.1 Single Track Bus
- Right rail to red contact.
- Left rail to black contact.
S4.2.2.2 Double Track Bus
Top color coded set shown for clarity.
Right Track
- Right rail to Yellow contact.
- Left rail to Gray contact.
Left Track
- Right rail to Blue contact.
- Left rail to Green contact.
S4.2.2.2 Triple Track Bus

Right Track
- Right rail to White contact.
- Left rail to Brown contact.
Center Track
- Right rail to Yellow contact.
- Left rail to Black contact.
Left Track
- Right rail to Blue contact.
- Left rail to Green contact.
S4.2.3 Track and accessory buss wires shall be 18 AWG stranded or larger.
RP4.2.3.1 It is recommended to use 14 AWG stranded wire for the Track and Accessory Buss. Even better is 12 or even 10 AWG Stranded wire.
S4.2.4 Track feeder wire must be 24 AWG or larger, but not longer than six inches to the track bus to avoid voltage loss.
S4.2.5 All turnout frogs shall be powered. Turnouts shall not rely on switch points to power the frog.
