Standards update

The free-mo 2 standard is essentially complete! for those who have been watching, a lot of work has gone into putting this standard together, and I am happy to say it is essentially complete. basically this means that there are no more major changes planned, I do have a few pictures that I want to update just to better clarify and a few places that I want to add pictures.

So, what I need from you, the visitor, if you see something that you feel needs clarified fixed or updated, please let me know. also, keep in mind there may be a few changes once I get into the build of the first free-mo 2 modules.

Enjoy

MSS Update – Correction

After many long hours working to improve the modular signal system, and many more hours documenting and publishing the information here on this site it has all come to an end. At the same time I was working on my complex and total rework of the MSS system, another individual on the free-mo list was also working on the same problem, but with out redesigning everything. After reviewing and studying his ideas, I came to the conclusion that I have overcomplicated the design for the Signal system and will be removing my designs from this site, I reccomend using the MSS detection system and will be including that in the standards as time permits.

Power bus(s)

Today I updated the power bus standards to reflect the latest changes. The changes were due to a oversight on my part, the original power bus standards did not properly support double track modules. The new standards are based on the Calgary Free-Mo standards.

Please give me any feedback that you may have.

Thanks

David

Discussion group

I have setup a yahoo group to facilitate discussions relating to changes and improvements to the standard. the group is located here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/free-mo2

Updates

Today I have made some more adjustments to the standards and I have made all the subcategory pages visible. please note, these standards are not official at this time, and are still underdevelopment and revision.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, and suggestions that you may have.
